lithium disilicate vs composite in overlay restauration ...

• In this case you chose to use the disilicato lithium (e-max Ivoclar) for the reconstruction of this overlay, then cemented with the adhesive technique.While in the case of inlays you get certainly look better integration with the composite, in overlay , especially if prepared with a chamfer vestibular, you can get a good aesthetic integration combined with high resistance (400 + - 40 MPa)
• In questo caso si è scelto di utilizzare il disilicato di litio (e-max Ivoclar) per la ricostruzione di questo overlay, poi cementato con tecnica adesiva.Mentre nel caso degli intarsi si ottiene sicuramente una migliore integrazione estetica con il composito, negli overlay, soprattutto se preparati con uno chamfer vestibolare, è possibile ottenere una buona integrazione estetica abbinata ad alta resistenza (400 + - 40 MPa)

• Attualmente vi sono numerosi sistemi per ottenere resistenza ed estetica nella ricostruzione protesica, ma succede spesso che migliorando la resistenza peggiora l'estetica o viceversa, oppure è richiesta una elevata capacità per ottenere entrambi. Utilizzando corone monolitiche in disilicato di litio (e-max press Ivoclar) è ora possibile ottenere bellezza e resistenza senza troppo dispendio energia ... semplicemente fantastico!
